If you're already on Facebook you can find friends already know: through friends Finder, which is where Facebook games people might know through mutual contacts. You can find these friends, entitled "Suggestions" in the right column in the 'Home' Facebook page.
What if you want to find someone your e-mail address? Follow these simple steps:
1 Find e-mail to your contact list
2 Copy e-mail to make sure you have the correct address
3 Go to your Facebook page, sign up if you have not already done
4 In addition to the top of the Facebook logo, you can find three symbols and a search box next to it - paste email address into the search box
5 Click on the search symbol or press Enter on your keyboard
6 Members with e-mail address will not appear on the list
7 On the left side of search results you will see that it is partly the result of 'the people', 'page', 'groups' or other areas. Select the one you are looking for, in your case, 'people'.
What if the person fails to appear after a search?
or the person whose e-mail address that you entered has not yet become a member on Facebook, or any other email address than the one you entered.
In this case, you can send them a message through Facebook and invite them to join. The search function will give that up as an option, if your search is unsuccessful. If you do not see this option, click on the "people" in the left column.
or simply send an old-fashioned e-mail asking them if they are on Facebook, and if you want to add as a friend!
