Enhance Your Microsoft Outlook Email Signature

active hyperlink in the e-mail signature increases the chances that the recipient will make the effort to visit your website, blog, a Facebook fan page or other online profile. Today, no one has time to enter your website address or URL on Facebook, so you give them!

Another big advantage to add a link to your address on Google Maps directions page! I love when the page does - you do not like me to spend my time opening the browser, typing out maps.google.com and to insert the address. This can only be a minute or two of my days, but you can already see that the user experience can be improved. Use this same convenience in your e-mail signature.

Also, do not be afraid to change the color or the shape of its different lines of text. Make some elements stand out, rather than using all black. Use a font or fonts that are easy to read and colors that are dark enough to read, especially if you change your e-mails default background color.

, follow the instructions below to add a picture to your e-mail signature associated with the hyperlink. In this way, it will probably make more of the other tactics you can use in your signature!

Be sure to insert the entire Web address http to the.com. / Org /. Net. In my sample, which can be found on our website, I have inserted our blog icon, clicked on it, click the hyperlink URL, and I inserted the address of our blog sites.
  • Click on OK. From e-signature window, the link will not work. To test that it works, open a new window ei e-mail to yourself. When you receive an e-mail and hover over the icon, it should show a little pop-up note to let you know what website address is linked to. And when you click on the image, it should open a browser window and direct you to the link you can set it up with!
