Homemade Apple Crumble


Apple Crumbles are a symbol of desserts (at least in my opinion). They are my favorite, a perfect blend between sweet and crunchy! Below desert I make at home all the time, or as much as I can. This is a recipe for homemade apple pie that I have developed all by itself. And it's not your traditional apple pie either, because it uses cookies to crumble ... Delicious!

in any way here it is:

Prep work:

Preheat the oven to about 350F fan forced or 180 degrees Celsius.

Grab a rectangular baking dish and lightly spray with olive oil for cooking.

Ingredients:

6 Granny Smith apples
2 tablespoons brown sugar
8 shortbread cookies
2 teaspoons unsalted butter
A large sheet of baking paper

method:

Apples

Bring a large pot of cold water to a boil. Dice apples into eighths and place in boiling water, leaving the skin (this step is optional, I like to leave the skin on, because we like the taste, it's up to you). Bring water to a simmer and cook until apples are tender (poke a knife in them, if Apple does not get caught, apples are ready ).

Wrap the cookies in a baking sheet and place on a hard surface. Biscuits Beat with a wooden mallet until they break into a rough paste. Put crushed biscuits in a bowl and add brown sugar and give the whole mixture a stir.

Connect

When the apples are ready, strain them and spoon them into a baking dish. Pour the crushed biscuits and brown sugar mixture over all the apples. At the end of a teaspoon of melted butter in the microwave for 30 seconds on high, and pour evenly dish. Place in oven for about 10 minutes or until cookies begin to go golden brown. Remove it and serve hot with fresh whipped cream. Enjoy!
