How To Set Up A Facebook Business Page That Works

Several people have recently asked me how to set-up a Facebook page up for work, how to get more love (people subscribe to your page), and how to use Facebook effectively. I have a Facebook Fan Page over the last three months has grown to 500-600 people who "loved" My page now and follow my daily updates.

common question is what type of account is best? Groups or fan page?

  • groups are great for organizing on a personal level and to a lesser extent, about the interaction of causes.
  • Results were better for brands, companies, bands, movies, or celebrities who want to communicate with their fans and customers without them connected to a personal account, and need not exceed 5,000 friends on Facebook hat.

business site allows you to grow an unlimited number of "likes" to send updates as many people as you like, and keeps the focus on the organization, not you or the person who manages the site. Facebook is constantly changing and it is an aspect that goes under some kind of change on a regular basis.

When you go to create a business website page (link at bottom of article) you can see the options for any site you might want to create.

Once you set up your account as a business site, then what?

Upload logo or photo with the website address at the bottom of the web . It will not be able to click, but the members of your site can see where to go if you want to visit your website.

Fill in relevant information, in full. Here you can add a click-able web address, company overview, mission, and some information about your products. You can only provide information about what Facebook is requested, but there are always creative ways to add information. For example, in your company overview, you can list your website, newsletter sign up form, other social media, or whatever you want.

Use FBML page to create a landing page. FBML is the Facebook version of HTML. This program allows you to provide basic HTML in the box or card on your page. Not that the default application, but you can find it in search of the application directory.

You can adjust the settings so that instead of sending people to the wall, like most people, you send them to your landing page or sales page with the message you want to provide. For example, you can give a brief description of your organization and tell people to click "like" button.

This is one of those things I can not think of at first glance, but which can greatly increase your Facebook korisnost.Odredišna site is great option of direct marketing.

Use the card wisely. If you think Facebook page as a secondary website for your business, you will realize that the card on top of the page like site navigation. You can have a card for your newsletter, card donations, card products, etc. How? In addition to superb FBML applications.

Post often on your wall. the same rules apply to Facebook and every other social media. It's all about interaction and content. In order to effect what is really required to post something every day. Your site will then be seen as active and will create an enthusiastic following in your interest group. Postings may be a link to your blog, product announcements, questions, news, or anything your fans will be interested in.

link on your Facebook page from anywhere . If you want to 'love', you must let people know that you are on Facebook. Place the icon or the link in your newsletter, on your website or blog in your e-mail footer, everywhere.

E-mail and blog. Do not be shy. Do not email out letting your subscribers know about your business page. Make them a special offer, or start a quiz with prizes are sure ways to get people "like" your page. Post to blog about what happens to a fan page with an invitation to join.

Send updates . This feature is something like e-mail. Do not abuse, because Facebook fans did not expect (and want) an avalanche of messages from you. But used wisely, this handy feature allows you to update your friends about their products, sales and events.

...

Is it worth it? Absolutely. I discovered that Facebook can drive significant traffic to your website as your subscription base is growing. And it gives you a completely independent way to interact with potential customers or supporters.
