iPad 3: Release Dates, Expected Features and What Not to Expect

Rumors about the iPad 3 is expected features and release date are re-doing the rounds. This time Apple rumor mongers get a new contract with the alleged photo leak case.

what to expect and what not to expect?

image clearly shows the back-casing the next iPad (probably 3 or IPAD IPAD definition). Photo courtesy of the repair Labs blog claiming back-housing on the iPad 3 will be similar to the previous model.

Even though, expect a larger battery pack, slightly revamped logic board, new cameras, and a second screen. Although the mills are now in line with the leaked photos, which give us the illusion of hope and belief in what you can expect from the most awaited gadget of the year.

Sources close to Apple have already hinted that the new iPad will go with dynamic dual screen resolution retina (a whopping 2048 x 1536 pixels), while the device is likely to resemble its predecessor in appearance. However, expect the new tablet will be a millimeter thicker than in the overall standings.

Also, the CPU card is A6 and iPad 3 is expected to be significantly flaunt powerful GPU, which is consistent with our expectations. But the big surprise that the A6 will have a quad-core chip, and instead will keep the dual-core from the original configuration.

Previous stories about the iPad 3 where the quad-core processor and LTE ability to clear the board seems incorrect for a couple of valid reasons. Primarily, the quad-core redesign will result in additional costs and time that could further delay the release of the most awaited tablet.

As for 4G LTE connectivity, Qualcomm's chipset will see the light of day in the second or third quarter of 2012, which in fact could delay the Apple iPad 3 if it is adopted.

As far as release date goes, February announcement is unlikely. So, what's the catch? Consider last year's iPad 2 Release in early March that bided for some time in finding a dealer before hitting the stores and it is likely that Apple would like to repeat the feat this year.

Release Dates quagmire

In addition, Apple has a policy after the upgrade and press the right intervals.

There is one key point in mind. February this year, falling in a leap year with 29 days, on 29 falls on Wednesday, the day that Apple announced any IPAD). iPad 2 published on 2 March 2011, and is available next Friday (11th March).

So, is expected to be history repeating itself. Especially when it comes to Apple and to the public is concerned, there is always a pattern, and you know what to expect.
