Microsoft Excel and OpenOffice


Excel može biti instaliran i kao samostalna aplikacija i kao dio sustava Office Suite, nudeći u potonjem slučaju punoj integraciji u programu Word, PowerPoint i Publisher. Excel nudi osnovne funkcije za manipulaciju podacima, kao što su aritmetičke operacije i formule, kao i ugrađeni statističkih funkcija, karte, grafikoni i histograma. Makro funkcija, dizajniran za nositi složenije obrade podataka, koristiti Visual Basic for Applications, podskup poznatog skriptni jezik razvijen od strane Microsofta.
