The Creator Of The C Programming Language Dies



NEW YORK-the world of technology back to lose an important figure in the computer world. Dennis Ritchie, a computer scientist who has many contributions in the realm of technology inducted at the age of 70 years.



Ritchie is best known as a pioneer in the science of modern computerized. He is a "giant" in the world of technology, though most people don't know about it. So as reported by Digital Spy, Friday (2/10/2011).



Although not as popular as Steve Jobs, but his influence in the technology world is equally great. Ritchie was the inventor of the C programming language and one of the Unix development that both supporters of modern technology.



The C language is used to program a system that is often used in developing software applications.



While Unix operating system of choice for the internet and then widely used in various types of hardware.



Ritchie's achievements-much of the admittedly, one of them in 1999 when he was in the anugerahi U.S. National Medal of Technology, the highest award for technology in the USA.



President of Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs, Jeong Kim says, "Ritchie is truly an inspiration to us all, not only because of his achievements, but also as a friend, inventor, and a man of humility who kindly," he said.



Google programmers, Team Bray-also convey its against Ritchie via Twitternya, "he's been helping me with his creation for thirty years," says Bray.



A developer, James Grimmelman said that Ritchie's influence on par with Jobs.



"Ritchie had equal influence with Jobs, it's just that it's less noticeable," he said in an account Twitternya.
